This composition was created using shades of black and white. It has an abstract design, with both central shapes fading light to dark from the right-hand corners. To offset the grey, a solid black circle and a solid black square were placed in opposite corners. The central shapes were given a border of either a circle or a square, to tie together the shapes in either corner.
I love the way the color eases its way out of the center and is at the same time locked in by the borders.
ReplyDeleteUsing the outside shapes to border the inside shapes is a nice touch and shows you were thorough in your thought process when creating this composition.
